The church of All Saints is an ancient building of stone in the Decorated style, consisting of chancel, nave of four bays, north aisle, south porch and a western tower of wood, with shingled spire, containg 3 bells: the church underwent extensive repairs in the years 1847-8; the interior was entirely reseated; the chancel rebuilt , and the church was again repaired in 1936 when the belfry was opened up, revealing the original oak timbers; an organ chamber was added at the east end of the north aisle in 1904: the timber south porch was restored and a new door added in 1937: there are 250 sittings.
The register dates from the year 1563. The living is a rectory, with that of Ramsden Bellhouse annexed, joint yearly value £588, with residence, in the gift of Mrs Austen and held since 1914 by the Rev Frederick William Austen, MA, of Trinity College, Cambridge.
